Kube Resource Orchestrator (kro)
kro (“crow”) helps developers, data scientists and DevOps engineers group their applications and dependencies as a single reusable Kubernetes resource. I was the founding Product Manager for kro at Google, and originated a collaboration with Amazon and Microsoft to co-develop the project in open source. Since launching, kro has seen huge inbound interest, driven by our focus on solving a very specific problem that is deeply felt by many Kubernetes users.

Kubernetes Config Connector (KCC)
KCC lets you create any Google Cloud resource from a Kubernetes cluster. It is an open source project that gained widespread adoption due to our focus on customer value and data-driven prioritization. As Product Manager for KCC, I worked across hundreds of customers to ensure every feature our (perenially underfunded) team shipped had outsized impact. KCC’s success reinforces the idea that “execution eats strategy for breakfast”.

Google Kubernetes Engine
As Product Manager for GKE Config Sync, I pivoted the product to focus on retail customers running Kubernetes at the edge. We introduced features such as deploying to groups of clusters, and extreme horizontal scalability, which helped reach product-market fit with this segment. We took a product that wasn’t gaining traction, made some tweaks, and found success in a new market.
-
Tanzu Mission Control
I was the first Product Manager for GitOps and Secrets Management in Tanzu Mission Control, and was lucky enough to work alongside and learn from some the founders of Kubernetes during this time. We introduced a GitOps service based on Flux CD, a secrets management service, and a package management service based on Helm, all of which found success with enterprises running Kubernetes on-premises.
-
Terraform VCD Provider
The Terraform VCD Provider was the first cloud automation tool that I managed - we invested in increasing our API coverage in Terraform, prioritizing based on customer needs and common workflows. Our success with Terraform led us to lead VMware’s investment in Terraform across the product portfolio.
-
VMware Cloud Director
VMware Cloud Director helped IT service providers build their own extesible multi-tenanted public cloud offerings. As part of the VCD product team I worked closely with hundreds of enterprise customers and introduced features such as support for deploying containerized applications, support for applications stored in the VMware Marketplace and Helm repositories, and integration with VMware Aria Automation.
-
VMware Aria Operations Chargeback
I was the first Product Manager for the vRealize Operations Tenant App, which is now VMware Aria Operations Chargeback. The Tenant App was created for IT Service Providers to design pay-as-you-go services and meter and charge their customers for their usage.

Allume Energy
Allume is a thriving business now, but when I was there in 2016 it was a group of students trying to invent a way to distribute solar power to apartments from a shared system. I helped Allume design this system, and close and implement it’s first deal. I performed a range of duties including developing an API for processing smart-meter data; ensuring compliance with energy regulation; product management / UX design for our client portal; and project managment for our pilot project.

Mixvisor
I was co-founder of Mixvisor, a B2B music business that integrated major streaming platforms to provide audience metrics for record labels and publications. I was responsible for business development, financials, fundraising, and product management, and participated in the 2015 Startup Chile accelerator program. Starting Mixvisor was like a real-stakes MBA-on-steroids.
